about me
Hey! My Name is Johannes, I'm 20 Years old, and I'm studying Management, Philosophy, Economics. I enjoy reading, and when I'm not burried in books, you either find me in the kitchen, whipping up delicious dishes, or doing some sports.
The literary worlds I visit are quite diverse: From A like Albert Camus to Z like Zusak, I read many genres. See my little bookshop yourself - maybe you'll find something to your taste.. Anyways, the most exciting part is to rise above single information bubbles and see connections on a broader scale. That's why I also love traveling (outside of pages) - nothing can compare to the density of experiences made as a stranger in a foreign place.
Besides, to take revenge on my French teacher from 10th grade, I learn some French in my freetime. La tortue! Ah, I really get goosebumps thinking back to this time! One day, he'll receive a letter... un jour, Monsieur!!!
And the cooking, well, better you don't trust me on this..
journaling the journey
a 5 year plan
I don't know where I'll be in 5 years. If you know, text me! What I can do, however, is make a plan and take tiny steps each day to come closer to a picture so far away that I can't see it yet. It is like a puzzle: Every hour I put in is a piece, and with enough pieces, one can envision the final result.
Again, this is not about where I go. It is about moving. Also, I'm not a fan of "goals". Nevertheless, an orientation I have is to speak French and Spanish fluently, have my degree done, and my library extended to 300+ Books by Nov. 29, 2029.
I chose this exact date with a random generator. The point is: Presently, Death doesn't scare you. But if I was to tell you the exact date and place you're going to leave, it would change everything. You'd see the time draining, you'd feel an urge to accomplish, to live. There is a deadline to everthing in live. And that's the reminder I want to get out of Project 10.000.
